History

Welcome to High Level Christian Academy, nestled in the charming town of High Level, Alberta! Our school sits on five beautiful acres in a newly developed area on the west side of town. Here’s what you’ll find on our property:

  • A large, fenced-in playground area

  • A gymnasium for all sorts of fun activities

  • Additional classrooms to welcome more students

Our Story: High Level Christian Academy was born from the dreams of parents who deeply believed in the power of Christian education. From day one, it was clear that the Lord had big plans for us, guiding our journey with faith and purpose.

Milestones Along the Way:

  • September 26, 1991: Our adventure began with the formation of a steering committee.

  • February 12, 1992: Our planning committee held its first meeting. With tips from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), we joined the Koinonia Christian Education Society (KCES). KCES suggested we elect a school board, which we did on May 6, 1992.

  • September 8, 1992: We opened our doors to 42 enthusiastic students from kindergarten to grade seven.

  • September 14, 1998: We moved into our amazing new 10,000 square foot facility, now home to students from kindergarten to grade nine. This fantastic space was made possible through God's work in the hearts of our community.
